Hey Bonnie,
Thank you for telling us, and I'm sorry it's been a disappointment.
On the refund — please email hello@okaricare.com and the team will sort that out with you.
On the lather, so you know it wasn't a faulty bar: the foam in ordinary soap comes from sulphates (SLS/SLES), which make bubbles by stripping oil off the skin — SLS is what dermatologists use in patch testing when they want to deliberately provoke a reaction. After 45 or so, skin makes less of its own oil and repairs more slowly, so that stripping is felt much more. We left the sulphates out, and the foam went with them. Lather and clean aren't actually the same thing — the bubbles are just air.
If you ever do use one of the remaining bars, rub it onto a loofah rather than straight onto skin, and work it up for ten seconds first. Hopefully that helps!
Thanks for the note about the scent, too — good to know that landed.
Kate
